Joanne S. Moskovic is a trial lawyer with over 27 years of experience. She devotes 100% of her practice to litigation, practicing in the areas of personal injury, including auto accidents, premises liability/slip and fall cases, dog bite/Animal Control Act cases, cases involving pharmacy mistakes, medical negligence, nursing home negligence, wrongful death cases, and appeals. She is a staunch advocate of clients’ rights as victims of negligence in personal injury cases, and also of patient rights in the context of medical malpractice litigation.

Consistently, Ms. Moskovic goes the extra mile for her clients. Her efforts have led to decisions that have been relied upon by attorneys throughout the State, who often call upon her for guidance in their own personal injury cases. While she has recovered millions of dollars in verdicts and settlements during her career, she prides herself most in her relationships with her clients, and her persistence in fighting against the large insurance companies, corporations, and even physicians who attempt to take advantage of victims of personal injury or medical malpractice. Ms. Moskovic cares about her clients and their legal rights at a very personal level and is known for spending a great deal of time with them from the beginning of their case through the end. She separates herself from most personal injury firms by dealing directly with her clients in all communications, rather than passing them on to another attorney or staff member.

Ms. Moskovic was born in Decatur, Illinois. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from Augustana College, with a concentration in Spanish, and her Juris Doctor degree from Valparaiso University School of Law, where, among the entire law school, she won the Moot Court Competition, an intraschool competition of oral advocacy.

Ms. Moskovic enjoys traveling, gardening, and spending time with her family.
